A Sample 2 Day Itinerary
Arrive for Check in to Kilronan Castle Estate & Spa from 3pm. The perfect afternoon adventure would be to take a trip to the Shannon Blueways

Home to Ireland’ first floating boardwalk over Acres Lake. Hungry? – Enjoy a bite to eat in our Drawing Room, with tall ceilings a beautiful bay window showcasing impressive views , the perfect location to order traditional hearty Irish cuisine and a tipple of your choice.
Day 2
Looking for adventure? Then Lough Allen Water Park in Drumshanbo is only 15 minutes from Kilronan Castle, a fun packed day in store for water-sport enthusiasts. An ideal way to end your busy day would be to make your way to the Moorlands Equestrian center for an afternoon of Horse riding, picture perfect scenery and right on your doorstep whilst in Drumshanbo.
Day 3
Enjoy a freshly prepared Breakfast served in The Douglas Hyde Restaurant, and after breakfask why not drive to the local town, Carrick-On-Shannon only 15 minutes away and climb a-board Moon River for a Shannon River Tour taking in all of the glorious sights along the way.

Check in from 3pm at Kilronan Castle Estate & Spa, or arrive earlier to avail of the estates facilities. Our Award Winning Spa and unspoiled grounds should definitely be taken full advantage of once you arrive. From individual Face & Body treatments to day packages for him & her the choice is endless. Kilronan Castle is nestled in the heart of 40 acres of natural woodland full of nature trails and unbelievable scenery, we have maps available at the front desk with a range of walks from 1km to 5km. With the Shannon Blueways walks on our door step in Drumshanbo you are spoilt for choice when it comes to taking a stroll through our natural countryside. Afternoon Tea on the Lake Terrace would be a personal recommendation, the sweet delights prepared by pastry chef Peter and the panoramic views of Lough Meelagh, no better place to be enjoying this treat. Dine at your leisure for the evening from the Drawing Room Menu which has a variety of traditional Irish dishes or reserve a table in our 2AA Rosette Award Winning Douglas Hyde Restaurant.
