Current Positions

Swim Teacher/Leisure Attendant

MAIN TASKS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Minimum Assistant Swim Teachers (or equivalent) qualification required

* Fitness Instructors qualification desirable

* Experience in teaching swim lessons and fitness classes an advantage

* Available to work evening shifts mostly mid-week

* Welcome the guest with full attention and a warm smile

* Smooth & efficient day to day running of gym and Pool area

* To ensure that all pool tests are done & recorded as required on a daily basis

* To build membership per specified targets

* To ensure that Opening up and Closing procedure are carried out daily per manual.

* To promote class’s for both members and non members

* Pool/ Leisure cleaning rota to be done & recorded on a daily basis per schedule

* To help organise events and promotions as required

* Stock take & record retail and professional products on a weekly basis as required

* Report any maintenance issues – log in maintenance folder at Reception

* To maintain a professional manner at all times

* Be familiar with sales and promotional activity and upsell at every possible opportunity.

* Answer phone (where appropriate) in a speedy, professional manner with an appropriate greeting.  Smile – it can be heard in your voice.

* Ensure all cash, change, float and till procedures are carried out in accordance with company policy.  You may be held liable for payment in the event of the company suffering financial loss due to monies, short, lost or stolen due to negligence.

* To carry out company’s customer relation’s policy and communicate hotel services to guests & members.

* To wear clean, suitable uniform and name badge at all times.

* To ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming at all times.

* To actively participate in any training and personal exercises designed to improve standards and performance levels.

* Deal with guest complaints in a friendly and efficient manner ensuring guest satisfaction at all times or bring to attention of Leisure Supervisor or Duty Manager if necessary.

* Upkeep of the equal opportunities policy to ensure that there is a neutral working environment.

FRONT OFFICE RECEPTIONIST

A fluent English speaker is a essential requirement for this position.

Main duties will include:

* Check in / Out

* Dealing with guest queries and concerns

* Billing customers

* Allocation of rooms

* Providing a Yes I can attitude.

SPA THERAPIST

We are now seeking applications for full & part time Spa Therapists

Tasks, duties and responsibilities:

· To maintain a high standard of Holistic/Beauty treatments.

· To maintain the company’s standards in respect of Holistic/Beauty services.

· To ensure that all clients receive services of the best possible quality.

· To advise clients on products and aftercare.

· To achieve designated performance targets.

· Constantly delivers the brand promise and has ‘Yes I Can’ Attitude.

· To participate in self-development.

· To carry out client consultation in accordance with company policy.

· To maintain company security practices and procedures.

· To assist your manager in the day to day running of the spa.

· To undertake additional tasks and duties required by your spa manager from time to time.

· To maintain and assist in the cleanliness and hygiene of your working area ie. treatment room and spa in general.

· To partake in reception duties when required.

Security, health and safety:

· Ensures that own cash is secure at all times

· Ensures all discrepancies in own cash are declared to the Spa Manager and Financial Controller

· Maintains high confidentiality in regards to guest privacy

· Notifies the Spa Manager and Executive Housekeeper regarding lost and found objects

· Reports all potential and real hazards appropriately

· Fully understands the hotel’s fire, emergency, and bomb procedures

· Follows emergency procedures to provide for the security and safety of guests and employees

· Works in a safe manner that does not harm or injure self or others

· Supports a safe hotel by applying hotel regulations, and adhering to existing laws and regulations

· Maintains the highest standards of personal hygiene, dress, uniform, appearance, body language and conduct

· Responsible Business: show involvement and be interested in environmental and/or social issues by participating in Responsible Business hotel and departmental activities

Miscellaneous

· Assists the Spa Manager/Supervisor when requested

· Attends meetings and training required by the Spa Manager/Supervisor

· Accepts flexible work schedule necessary for uninterrupted service to hotel guests

· Continuously seeks to endeavour professionalism in own job function

· Knows:

– Hotel fire, bomb and emergency procedures

– Hotel health and safety policies and procedures

– Hotel facilities and nearby sights of interest and importance (i.e. hospitals, stations, tourist sights)

– Hotel and corporate marketing and promotional programs

– Corporate clients and clients generating high business volume

Any other reasonable request as per manager/supervisor.
